When first introduced to the field of Pedorthics through her own case of plantar fasciitis, Josée quickly appreciated the completeness of the pedorthic process: from the assessment, to the fabrication process and finally to the dispensing. There’s a very specific joy in being able to make an immediate change in a client’s life by fitting them to the right pair of shoes, orthotic, brace or footwear modification.
With a degree in Kinesiology, a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion and a Diploma in Pedorthics, Josée has many years of experience in the healthcare industry. Josée firmly believes in taking the time to educate her clients about their foot health, so as to ensure that they can make the best decisions about their treatment.
Over the years of practicing, Josée has expanded her approach to include rehabilitation techniques like foot strengthening, and yoga based stretching protocols. Josée is eager to be undertaking her Yoga Teacher Training in the Winter of 2025. Stay tuned as her clinic offerings adapt with her continuous learning.
Outside of the clinic, Josée spends as much time as possible outdoors with her husband and pup Moose, hiking, canoeing, practicing yoga, etc. She is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Pedorthic Association of Canada, where she is proud to serve her fellow pedorthists and build awareness of the wonderful effects the Pedorthic profession can have on peoples mobility and quality of life!
